Social Solidarity for Community Support Nepal (SSCS Nepal) is a registered nonprofit, non-governmental organization committed to improving health outcomes and fostering social development in Nepal’s underserved communities. Since its establishment SSCS Nepal has been actively working to promote access to quality healthcare, raise awareness on public health issues, and support marginalized populations through inclusive and community based approaches.
The organization recognizes that health is a fundamental human right and a key pillar of sustainable development. SSCS Nepal strives to bridge the gap between remote communities and essential healthcare services by empowering individuals with knowledge, resources, and preventive care strategies. Through partnerships with local governments, educational institutions, and healthcare providers, SSCS Nepal designs and implements targeted interventions to address a wide range of health challenges from hygiene and sanitation to reproductive health and non-communicable diseases.
With a people centered approach, SSCS Nepal emphasizes the importance of community participation, especially focusing on vulnerable groups such as women, children, adolescents, and the elderly. Health awareness programs, medical camps, and youth led initiatives are integral to the organization's strategy for creating lasting change and building health resilient communities.
